This unit has given me an overview of what makes a good teacher and the role of a teacher. It also states what makes a good learner and what motivates learners. I have learned that there are many different roles that a teacher can assume during a class and choosing which role is best is a crucial choice to ensuring that the students learn most effectively and maintain motivation. It is based on class demographic, content and age of students, among other things.
