The five forms of the Future Tense have many rules, which I find interesting, mostly based on a point in time in the future. Future Simple rules however are based more on how concrete the statement is. The common thread with rule here seems to be how recently the "fact/statement" came about and it's likelihood to change. Future Continuous is used more for predicting or planning actions at a point in the future. In Future Perfect we make statements about what we plan to complete by a set point. Future Perfect Continuous lets us state how long an action has been taking place up to a point in the future. And the "Going To" is used when the statement is more "concrete" than it would be in the Future Simple tense.
I thought the Teaching Ideas in this Unit were fun. Ideas like making horoscopes, fortune telling, and wedding vows would be an entertaining activity. Also the game of finding a meeting time reminds me of the game "battleship." All of these sound great with the right age group.
