This unit offered a more visual understanding on how classes take place and what happens during them. There were two videos for this unit, that had some significant differences in how the teacher talked and behaved in class and how the students responded to his attitude and teaching methods. In the first video, it is obvious that the students have trouble understanding the lesson content as well as keeping up with the teacher's pace. Furthermore, the teacher in the first video appeared to be very rude, and ignorant towards his students, without trying to be helpful or supportive. The overall atmosphere in the first video was very chaotic and unorganized. On the other hand, the second video showed a different kind of atmosphere in the classroom, a more pleasant one. The teacher was nice, and engaging, he also seemed very happy and polite towards his students, without discriminating any of them. In general, teachers apart from being fluent and having an optimum knowledge of the English Language, they also must have the right attitude and energy so that the students can engage and participate easily and also enjoy and be able to learn the language. I believe that the atmosphere of the classroom solely depends on the teacher, and what she or he will do at the beginning of the lesson, in other words, the vibes they will emit to the students, and how enjoyable they will make the process of learning a new language.
