This unit provided information on speaking and writing skills. It discussed the importance and relevance of both and gave examples of activities that will enable the students to effectively learn these skills. It differentiated between fluency and accuracy activities and their place in an ESA lesson. Again, in this unit, I think that choosing the right activity that will motivate the students is very important. The activity chosen by the teacher will determine students’ willingness to participate and in turn also influence their learning at the end of the lesson. Thus, I think it is very important that teachers choose appropriate and interesting activities that will help them improve their production skills.
