Teaching English language presents a large number of unique challenges and difficulties. Adults who need to learn English for work are usually highly motivated and have specific requirements such as formal writing, telephone English, and vocabulary in sectors such as marketing, sales, and product descriptions. These students may be under pressure to learn quickly and will need plenty of encouragement, support, conversation practice and practical exercises.
