This unit on teaching pronuction and phonics has been another interesting unit. Trying to read the phonetic scripts has equally been fun. I didn't really think it was that easy. Apparently, teaching phonics or phonetics for a whole lesson could get really boring. But then I find that it is great content to help learners with the various phonetic to aid them look up the pronuction of unfamiliar words in the dictionary. I have been exposed to more technical terms when it comes to pronunciation and phonics than I have ever been taught. I could say that I have never really thought phonics as a topic all my English years.
