Many of these suggestions around Equipment Aids and their usages have already been covered in previous sections. However there were a few points I found most interesting. First around the Interactive White Board, it is a piece of equipment I have not seen or used before. It sounds like there could be some interesting integration with prepared lesson plans to make them useful. But like with all technology, it's always good to have a back up plan. As we are now in the digital age of computers in everyone's pockets, (cell phones) the idea of using them to record students speech and play back for them is great. I think when they can hear their own missteps and self correct, this will be a good tool. This fall I will be coaching 5-6 year olds preparing for an English speaking competition. I will record them for sure.
The Over Head Projector is one of my favorite pieces of equipment, though not used much anymore. Because you can have a sheet prepared either with words or a graphic and then fill in later makes it easy to use and yet engaging. But I am aware of the struggles with the technology and needing to work in a darkened room.
Last point, thanks for the tip on writing primarily in lower case and only using capital letters when necessary and relevant. I want to be sure my writing is as easy to read as possible, because the bar is already set pretty low.
