Unit two thoroughly describes the parts of speech in English. The simplest form of structure is the basic sentence. A sentence must consist of a subject and verb (often times, with additional words). The Unit reviewed the structure of English grammar and covered topics such as nouns (common, proper, compound, abstract and collective), plural nouns, countable verse uncountable nouns, adjectives (comparative and superlative), articles (definite and indefinite), verbs (transitive and intransitive), auxiliary verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions.
