The third study unit mainly focused on enhancing the teacher's capabilities by introducing different methodologies. The methodologies differ in various ways, but contribute to effective learning when used in the correct manner and in the correct context. Mainly the focus rested on the engage-study-activate phenomenon which forms an inherent part in teaching of all ages. Each of these three phases namely, the engage phase, the study phase and finally the activate phase have their own unique goal, but are interconnected at the same time. The examples featured for each phase made me understand each phase in more depth. Feedback was just as important and understanding when feedback is appropriate was also highlighted in this unit.
