Many students find it quite difficult to see the difference in usage among 1st, 2nd, 3rd and mixed conditionals. This unit gave us a clear description of the form and usage of each grammatical rule and provided some useful teaching ideas which I can’t wait to try in my class. This unit also talked about the difference between direct speech and reported speech, and how a direct speech sentence is changed into a reported speech sentence. The teaching ideas provided also gave me some thoughts on what we can do in class in order to help our students use this grammar rule.
