In school we are taught the concept of cause and effect, "if>then" but until this course I didn't realize it has some many conditions and complexities. There are five conditional forms of grammar. Each condition is based on the likely hood of the outcome, the "then." They can be identified by the tens of the verbs, but are still quite complicated. I like the tennis game suggested in the video. It is similar to the story telling game that students or friends play at parties, where the next person adds the next line.
Report speech is a bit interesting. Changing of the pronouns, the tense from present to past is required, and making the students aware that they will need to adjust the time to fit when they are reporting.
