Unit 11 speaks about Receptive skills, which are only one half of the basic skills used when teaching a language. In this unit we learn the different ways to introduce information to students while making sure they are also taking in the information in a productive matter. Important factors in this process is making sure the topic is interesting and not too difficult for the level of the student. Given are examples of different ways in which we perceive information and how knowing this we can make lesson plans that will be productive.
