This unit introduces the conditionals and reported speech, listing different conditional forms, usage and ways to teach. For reported speech, the unit specifies the parts of speech that is modified when a piece of information is repeated by a second party, these include verb tenses, time expressions, pronouns, etc. It also introduces some practical teaching ideas. Tense and word changes can be very confusing for students, seeing that there are too many factors involved, printing out a clear information sheet and giving students more time to practice with games or simulated situations feels like a better choice for this part of the lesson.
