this unit concentrates on the teaching of vocabulary, grammar, and functions. After reading the unit it seems that it is mostly up to the teacher to determine the vocabulary thought. although workbooks often help us with vocabulary there is not a consensus on what words should be taught when. Students in early levels will have an easier time because they are learning the basics but vocabulary can get more intense as level progress. There are many ways to tie the teaching of vocabulary to grammar and functions. There is no set method for teaching this although straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork structures all have there place.
