This unit described the parts of speech which make up sentences like nouns, verbs, adjectives and pronouns. I am a native speaker of the English language so most of this information was what I grew up learning, and they were great to review. For example I use gerunds frequently and now I know exactly what they are because I read and studied the parts of speech. Also the difference between reflexive, personal and possessive pronouns is clear to me. It was really helpful to learn because now I will be able to clearly explain this information to students. I must say that prepositions are perhaps my favorite part of speech because I use them all of the time.
