It is common knowledge among teachers that classroom management is an essential skill for teacher survivability and student success. The use of eye contact, gestures and the voice is essential in establishing a good rapport with the students. Grouping students are all appropriate in setting up activities and each has its own place in the classroom. When the teacher is constantly redirecting students or handling behavior problems, she loses crucial teaching time. Classroom management strategies help creates an organized classroom environment that's conducive to teaching. Kids know the expectations of different types of learning situations. A teacher with strong classroom management skills creates consistency for his students. The main goal of classroom management is to reduce misbehavior in the classroom.
