To begin with, I would like to say that is unit was a booster for my knowledge about teaching new language, specially when it comes to planning. In my personal experiences I see eliciting as the technique I use the most and also the one I am most proficient at. In relation to the subdivision proposed in this unit (vocabulary, grammar, and functions) I noticed how important teaching pragmatic is, since most of teachers of my country (Chile) tend to highlight grammar and vocabulary as the basic pillars in students' learning; unfortunately, when the time of speaking comes, the students do not seem capable of adapting their language to different contexts, expressing ideas that finally were not the ones they intended to communicate.
