In this Unit,we complete the coverage of the grammar section by highlighting the modal verbs for communication and conditions of usages,i.e obligation,request,permission,advise,certain elements,uncertain elements etc.Some of the modal verbs commonly used in our everyday lives are may,might,should,could,have to,must etc are significant in using and certain conditions for applying.Non-native speakers often make mistakes by the misuse of the modal verbs and needs to be exercised.This unit also introduces us about the phrasal verbs(verbs joined by two or more words or phrases),active and passive voices and transformation rules from active to passive and recognizing ideas,and clauses which may be compulsory elements for the grammar section of EFL lesson.It is also recommended that the teachers only got the basic and primary aspects of grammar for EFL lessons in this and other units of grammar sections,and thus need to be practised periodically and explore more and more ideas for learning and teaching English grammar in EFL classes,even by choosing a specific internationally recognized grammar books for own.
