This Unit is about receptive skills - reading and listening. Both of them are equal and important. Students can read for purpose and for entertainment. There are some skills listeners and readers should have: predict the plot, scanning (something in particular) and skimming (the plot in general), to perceive in detail, to deduct from the context. The most important thing while reading or listening is that the information should be interesting and varied.
