In this last unit, common challenges and ways to work them out were discussed. These challenges include different levels of English ability in one class, large class sizes, shy students, native language use, and first classes. For the benefit of everyone, teachers and students alike, real course lessons should not begin on the first day. This is a time to establish rapport, get to know the class, and set the tone for the class. It is good to start with 'warmers,' like games to introduce the English language to the class. With different English language levels, the teacher will need to find a good way to keep the weaker learners motivated and keep the stronger learners from being bored. The large class size is often seen as a disadvantage, but could be an advantage. There are more backgrounds coming together and a larger dynamic to create a more active and entertaining class. Shy students should not be pushed, but also should be encouraged so that they can reach their potential. Native language should not be used, except in specific circumstances, when absolutely necessary. There are no right and wrong answers, per se, about how to tackle these challenges, which is one of the tasks of the teacher in controlling the class.
