This unit discussed teaching productive skills. The two main skills are accuracy and fluency. Accuracy is used to concentrate on producing the correct language. For example pronunciation, word structure, combining syllables. Accuracy activities are usually controlled by the teacher in regards to output and fluency is controlled by the students regarding output. Fluency revolves around having the students use creativity and experimentation to learn the language.
