Pronunciation is very important for a student ,ecpecially for a teacher to teach, but I learned from the text the native English teacher is lack of confidence and training to teach it. Because it is different to teach. Previously I think it is not difficult to teach, now I know that I am wrong . If we just teach something basic, like the IPA Chart, of course it is very easy for us. But pronuciation is not just the IPA chart. It contained intonation , stress, and maybe the IPA chart. The difficult part is teaching the intonation. Generally speaking , we have the different tpyes of intonations, like flat/fall, rise/fall, fall/rise, however , it will be influenced by our emotion, habit, and our own tone. I need pay more attention to this part.
