Unit 15 was about evaluation and testing it is more about how the teachers can evaluate the students in the class and before students start studying english.A few ways of evaluating students english levels like tutorial tests and evaluation by students.When working with individual or a group of students it is all about tutorials I saw how best to do it and when to do it without wasting class time and teaching time. Evaluation by students is rather useful as I as teacher get too ask students questions about the course and see what they feel they are gaining or what they are not getting from the course and as a teacher I can work on things they bring forth or find a way to help them be it as a group or individually.I learnt the importance of all the different tests students should take and when starting an english course or during. Placement tests are very important so as a teacher I can know where to place a student be it which class and what attention I may need to give the student. As the same with a diagnostic where I get to see the level of english the students is at helping me with what material may be best for that student and what level they may be. The progress test helps me as a teacher to see what the students remember from what I would have taught thus helping me too see if we need a review or go on to the next topic. A practice test is one of the important test that consist material for the final english exam the students may wish to take at the end be it with an american blanguage board or british e.g TOEFL,IELTS,TOEIC,ESOL and UCLES.
