This unit covered some important aspects of receptive skills. I learnt some different techniques to help both challenge and give confidence to students. Some information about different types of reading and listening was good to consolidate my understanding. An important new technical term I learnt was authentic and non-authentic texts. This will help me to prepare my lessons to the level of my students.
