The unit discusses that there are three tenses - past, present and future. However, when broken down, there are twelve tenses in total - simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. This unit explains in depth about the various types of present tenses - present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. I have learnt the forms - affirmative, negative and question. Also, how to correctly use the auxiliary verbs 'do, to-be, have and have been' with the corresponding present tense. The unit has made me aware of the typical mistakes/errors that students may present with and also how to identify what they are in order to correct them.
