Unit 15 gives an overview of the three different ways a teacher can evaluate their students. The first way is to have students give tutorials. This kind of evaluation can be done in a group or with individual students. This is a good way to see if the students understood the main points of the lesson and if they have any problems. The second is an evaluation by the students. This is a good way to get feedback directly from the students to help the teacher have a more effective class. The third is testing. Giving students different kinds of test throughout the course can be a good way to evaluate their progress. The most valuable thing that I have taken away from this unit is that even though testing is something that a teacher will probably be required to do it is not the only way to evaluate students progress.
