Some of the material learned from this lesson can be found in previous lessons and wasn't as difficult as the previous lesson on pronunciation and phonology. However, there are some tips that I found valuable in education. For example I can clarify the difference between authentic material vs. created material. Authentic material are material that is used by native speakers for reasons other than learning the language. Where as created material is geared for the level of the students and made specifically for the class. I appreciate the tips on choosing a course book and how to best use it. Price, methodology, designed, availability, skills, and syllabus should all be considered when choosing a book. I remember in elementary school having to carry a large textbook that was bigger than my head. Finally, course books shouldn't be the only source of material but should supplement the course and adaptive to the teacher's teaching style.
