Unit seventeen focused on the vast array of equipment and teaching materials that can be utilized by the teacher. These include, but are not limited to, the board, the interactive whiteboard, the overhead projector, visual aids (in the form of cards, pictures, or photos), worksheets, computers, and dictionaries. There is also a variety of online resources that can be used including dictionaries, literature website, and teaching websites. This unit offered a concise expatiation of the various materials that have been presented so far in all of the previous units. Unfortunately, it seems one part of this section is outdated and therefore distracts from the main information. The sections on the audio cassette player is rather pointless because the cassette player is obsolete. They prove to be tedious to use even if they still are used because they are greatly surpassed by their modern partners, the CD and the DVD.
