This unit describes the past tenses of English which, as with the present tenses, include simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. The unit also covers forms, usages, student errors and activation ideas for each of the past tenses. Since I plan to teach more advanced students I will concentrate my curriculum on the more difficult parts of these tenses such as irregular verbs and the use of the past perfect and past perfect continuous tenses. I will also include several of the more adult and business-related activation teaching ideas in my lessons such as creating Curriculum Vitae and interview role-playing.
