Where the last lesson focused on the two receptive skills (listening and reading), this lesson focused on the two productive skills, speaking and writing. It talked about the differences in teaching these two skills, how they are equally important (though writing is often more neglected), and the extra considerations of teaching writing (such as spelling, pennmanship, punctuation, etc.) It also discussed different ways and considerations in keeping students interested in these production skills.
I think the most important thing that I learned is that there is a time during the lesson (study phase) to focus on accuracy, and a time (activate phase) to focus on fluency. I think that will be very helpful to me.
