This unit focuses on lesson planning and how to create a good lesson plan. Keys points that stood out to me in this unit are:
-Keep lesson plans simple, but also flexible
-Timing the lessons
-Be organized and prepared so that everything may be accomplished in the lesson plan
-Having a learner objective is important as it gives a goal for the teacher to accomplish
-Interaction level between student and teachers should be written
-Monitor lessons to see if what was effective and ineffective
-Plan lessons so that there is an order and sequence so they build on top of each other.
This unit was also very helpful since it provided samples of lesson plans and possible ESA Phase teaching examples.
