In this unit we went over the 4 different present tenses: Present simple, Present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. This unit went over the different usages for each tense in the English language as well as examples of each. It described how present simple is used for habits/routines/facts, how present continuous refers to actions in progress or a time of action, how the present perfect refers to things that happened in the past or past actions and often refers to a time and last but not least the present perfect continuous which refers to action that continues into the future/unfinished. It provided examples of different activities to use within the activate stage of each tense to help students learn.
