This unit first covers the the element of conditional sentences within the english languages, these being sentences containing 'if' or maybe 'when' that refer to past, present and future possibilities. The unit highlights the zero, first, second, third and finally mixed conditional sentences. Unit sixteen then covers the tricky and often confusing characteristics behind direct and reported speech and exactly what changes need to be made in order for the various sentences to be correct. I very much appreciated the correct components that were made clear in this unit for both forming the conditional sentences and reported speech.
