As someone who speaks both French, English, and currently learning Japanese, I can safely say that grammar is one of the hardest parts of learning a new language. People always try to apply the grammar rules of their own language onto the language they're learning.
French and English have a lot in common, so learning one after the other is a rather easy task. But that's also the cause of one of the main hardships when teaching foreign people: since most of it comes naturally to native speakers, finding the right way to explain it to other people is not necessarily obvious.
I found this unit to be a nice refresher, though admittedly, the course assumed a zero level of knowledge, so there wasn't much to be learned, although I did learn a new word: "gerund", I knew the idea behind the word, but not the word itself.
