This unit, chapter 16 discusses conditionals and reported speech. The beginning of this unit felt easy for me as a native speaker. Zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional is drilled into us in Canada when we learn English in lower and high school so this was common review. As a native speaker, the questions in the chapter test above on the correct form of the direct speech sentence was agony as I had to read it aloud many, many times because although saying it in copy tongue and conversation is no problem for everyday use, picking it apart for errors is much harder than what would be expected. I'm certain when I check my responses I got some of these wrong and I will need to practice this.
