This unit was another great review of the future tenses. The future tense is the most complex and difficult to learn tense in the English language but the seven future tenses are similar to the past and present tense structures with slight variations. This unit was a good refresher as many of the future tenses are not as commonly used and there were examples and activities as well as common mistake examples to help guide students through one of the most complicated parts of the English language. The explanations of the different usages are particularly helpful to explain the new English learners. This unit also really puts the difficulties non-native speakers and learners go through and makes me realize how much I took picking up English by ear for granted. I will definitely be referring back to this chapter for “future” reference.
