I feel confident to know that I have been following the ESA approach to teaching prior to taking this course. However, I did learn newer ways to structure the lessons, such as creating a Patchwork lesson. In addition, I find the number of activities provided to be useful. It also inspired me to think outside of the box and use adult drinking games and convert them into a practical method for engaging students to learn English.
