Many of the topics covered in unit 3 made this unit mostly straightforward. I also found that the aspects of grammar structures and vocabulary that students need to know and do not need to know to be fairly intuitive. I think the most useful aspects of the unit are the example lesson plans for both grammar and vocabulary. They present a clear guideline that can be followed or built upon when I attempt to create my own lessons.
When reading this I would often reflect back on some second language courses I have had in the past and realize that my teachers/professors also used similar methods for teaching their own languages. I found them to be effective and will also keep there lessons in mind when building my own.
