In this unit, the focus was not the ESA stages or what they are, but more broadly included information about why lesson plans are done, what information lesson plans should contain to help not only teachers in steering the class, but also as a resource for record, reflection, and evaluation once the lesson is over. I feel that this is an invaluable unit to track progress of lessons that occur over a long period of time, and I look forward to using these resources for my lessons.
