n this unit I have learnt about four tenses,the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. I have learnt about the forms, typical usages of the tenses, Student errors and activate stage teaching ideas. Under the forms of tenses, they show affirmatives (positive), negative, questions and grammar point. On the usage of the present tenses I have learnt how and what the circumstances the tense or grammar point is used. Under the usage of this this tense there are several usages and some usages can overlap from one tense to another. I have also learn some typical student errors.This has helped me to be aware of what kind of mistakes the students make when they are learning the tenses.I am aware on how to correct or tackle those mistakes, because some errors are predictable it helps the teachers to formulate correction strategies and examples in advance. In this unit I have also learnt about activate stage teaching ideas, activities always encourage communication use of the tense or the grammar point during activate stage of the lesson. This unit has been helpful to me because it has reminded on how to use proper way of using present tenses.
