Unit 20 tells us about Troubleshooting and the ways teachers can deal with common problems that happens in the classroom environment. Warmer is an important method used to get students motivated to learn in the beginning of a lesson. Some warmer activities are hangman, Pictionary, tongue twisters etc.
Having different levels of students in a class is another problem a teacher may face. Some of the things a teacher can do to deal with this are:
• Use different materials – the teacher can split the class into stronger and weaker groups and give different materials to the group based on their language ability.
• Same material but different tasks.
• The teacher does nothing and teaches the same materials to all levels in the class.
• Pair stronger students with the weaker ones
