The topic of this unit was about lesson planning. It first talked about whether lesson planning is a good thing to do or not, then about how to go about lesson planning, and what it should include, monitoring both myself and the students, and the importance of planning all the lessons together as a whole. The rest of the unit gave many samples of exercises and a sample plan. The exercises were largely based off of an overview of the Present Perfect Simple, and 'Possibilities' sentences using 'might' and/or 'may.' In this unit, I learned that there needs to be at least some flexibility in a lesson plan as a new teacher, and even more flexibility as I become more and more experienced. I learned what a good lesson plan looks like, and about how to help my students reach to the next level and methods to help them remember what they learn.
