The different methodologies was quite surprising and also very refreshing. It is beautiful to see so many approaches to learning and teaching a language especially in regards to their positive influences on language learning. I especially enjoyed encountering the ESA model. I can certainly see how engaging those wanting to learn can facilitate the learning process. I also appreciate the difference between mistakes and error and the positive approach to correction in order to facilitate and encourage learning. The flexibility the ESA allows and also encourages is really beneficial to the overall goal of learning in a positive environment. The list of various activities in each stage of the ESA was also very helpful.
