This unit was very interesting and a great help in giving me the confidence to fill in some lesson plans. There were some very good tips and ideas for worksheets and activities.
I found all three videos very useful, especially the two ESA Demonstration Class ones. It was very good to see the contrast between a well taught class and one ran by a 'Basil Fawlty' type of teacher.
The videos really highlighted the importance of the teacher's attitude, manner and teaching style. I also found it helpful to see how a complete lesson was structured and how the various activities were organised.
I can appreciate as a new teacher how having a good lesson plan to follow would be a life line and prevent me from getting muddled. The information on feedback and correction was invaluable.
