The first video was an example of an unsuccessful lesson, there are many factors that caused the failure of the lesson including:
1)The teacher commenced the lesson immediately without an engage phase.
2)He kept asking one question after another which confused the student.
3)He didn't demonstrate activities beforehand.
4)He corrected students during the engage phase.
5)He only involved students whom he knew their names.
6)He didn't write the correct answer of the activity on the whiteboard.
7)He wasn't monitoring the students while they were solving the worksheet.
8)He showed favoritism to one team of the students in the activate phase.
9)He ended the activity abruptly when the paper fell to the ground.
10)He didn't seem very tolerant and sometimes he embarrassed students instead of encouraging them.
In the second video, the teacher's attitude was a positive one, he managed to make the lesson more effective and involve all students in the class.
1)He introduced himself and asked students for their names.
2)He started the lesson with engage phase by asking questions that students are familiar with.
3)He made sure to ask students about their classmates' answers so that they would pay attention.
4)He clearly demonstrated activities and gave examples.
5)He elicited answers from the students and used a language that is proper for their level.
6)He did individual drilling.
7)Instead of interrupting the flow of the lesson when a student arrived late, he simply showed him an empty seat.
8)He used gestures that aided visual learning.
9)He wrote the correct answers of the worksheet on the whiteboard.
10)He gave a chance for the students to correct themselves.
11)He concluded the class well.
