The fourteenth unit focused on course books and lesson materials. There are two groups of lesson materials: authentic materials (e.g. magazines, menus, newspapers, songs, movies, etc. all from English speaking countries) and created materials that are used to replace or supplement sections in the course book. The created materials are more artistic and applicable for the interests of the students therefore the students generally like them more than the generic textbooks. There were example vocabulary flashcards, word searches, crossword, role play cards and picture stories. The activities seem engaging and fun for the students and teacher thus facilitating good student-teacher rapport and a safe learning space.
