This unit gives an overview of several problems that are often encountered by teachers while teaching. It does not only shed light on the reasons as to why these problems might occur but also, and more importantly, gives different ways to deal with them. The unit puts emphasis on the importance of first lessons as getting to know the students, warmers before classes, and other ways to facilitate teaching as well. For instance, it gives different ways to teach large classes efficiently by teaching the class as a whole without wasting time on each and every individual student.
