In this unit, I learnt the sound of English language in detail. the Analysis included Intonation, stress, articulation and phonetic scripts. It is important to understand that there are three types of intonation depending on the purpose of the speaker. Also, teachers need to be clear as to when and which alphabets (sounds) should be stressed within a word or a sentence, to help the students communicate more effectively. learning in detail the Place of Articulation and reading the phonetic script were very helpful in understanding and also helping students know different sounds of English words.
