This unit covered the various forms of the future tense and there are a multitude! We covered the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, be going to the future, present simple, and present continuous. We also discussed the uses for each of the different forms and common student errors to be aware of when teaching. I found it interesting discussing the present simple and present continuous in relation to the future tense. Though I have used these forms with regularity in daily speech I never realized the cross over between the present and future tenses.
