It is interesting to know that there are so many points that an English teacher should take care of when it comes to reading activities and listening activities. Before reading the unit, I never thought about in details the way in which we read and listen. From this unit, I have learnt that we actually apply multiple skills such as predictive skills, scanning, and skimming when we are reading and/or listening. The unit also provides me with great amount of information about how I should plan a receptive skill lesson with the ESA system.
